Indian Youth Forum

MIYDF is the Secretariat coordinating the Indian Youth Forum. The Indian Youth Forum is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Malaysia and the key Indian Youth NGO's, Indian Youth Political Parties and Indian Youth societies at local universities. There were 3 zone forums held at regional levels. The Northern Indian Youth Forum was held in Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang on 15 th April 2007.

 

The Central Region Indian Youth Forum was held in Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur on 8 th April 2007.

 

The Southern Region Indian Youth Forum was held in Malacca on 7 th April 2007. The Zone forums came up with some key findings of problems faced by the Indian Youth in Malaysia.

 

The objective of the Indian Youth Forum is to bring together all the active organization to address the Indian Youth's problem and to consolidate efforts and resources to become one voice that will be heard.

 

The National Indian Youth Forum will be held from 20 th – 22 nd July 2007 at Malacca with representation of 330 policy makers and leaders of 35 Indian youth organizations nationwide.
